Do you need a visa?

Depending on your country of origin, some students require a visa to travel to Canada. More information about visas — who needs one, how to obtain one, visa offices outside of Canada — is available on the International Student Services site.

Does the program qualify for a student visa?

The McMaster University MCM is a part-time program, and because of that, applicants may not qualify for a student visa. The program does not provide guidance on student visas. Students are responsible for determining if they will qualify for a visa on their own.

Is government funding available for the program?

Federal (Canadian) and provincial (Ontario) government funding is generally not provided for part-time studies.

Are there any scholarships available?

The MCM program does not directly offer scholarships.
